Fluid Extract of the Aerial Parts of Catnit Nepeta cataria in Ethanol and Purified Water.

Traditionally used for treatment of colds, the flu, bronchitis and skin infections suggests antiseptic properties.

In addition, Catnep calms down the nerves and relaxes the muscles, making it effective remedy in the presence of cramps during gastrointestinal illness or menstruation, or during constriction of the bronchial muscles as in asthma and bronchitis. The sedative effect of this herb are used to promote restful sleep at night and relieve headaches associated with spasmodic gastrointestinal conditions.  Catnep induces perspiration during fever and helps to bring the body temperature to normal. The tea has a pleasant taste and is safe to give to children.
