Traditional Uses: 1:1 Herbal Extract of Aniseed, Pimpinela anisum, in Ethanol and Water.
Anise is used traditionally for upset stomach, intestinal gas, as an expectorant to increase productive cough, as a diuretic to increase urine flow, and as an appetite stimulant. Women use anise to increase milk flow when nursing, to trigger menstruation, to relieve menstrual discomfort or pain, ease childbirth, and increase sex drive. Men use anise to treat symptoms of male menopause.
Warnings:
Not recommended in pregnancy.
Do not take with blood thinning medicines.
Herbs may interact with prescription drugs, please check with a pharmacist prior use.
