Loose tea of Sage, Salvia officinalis
Traditional Use: Taken at the first signs of colds, sinusitis, loss of voice, tonsillitis and respiratory infections in general, sage helps to clear up congestion and enhances the immune system. Also used to dry up nursing mothers. Two cups of warm sage tea daily for up to a week generally dries up the milk supply. A strong sage tea, rubbed into the hair roots twice a week, will take away gray and help restore the original hair color.
