logo_gerson2Max Gerson (October 18, 1881 – March 8, 1959) was a German-born American physician who developed the Gerson Therapy, an alternative dietary approach to cancer management, involving alkaline diet, restricting red meat and carbohydrates and consisting mainly of fruits and vegetables, juices, and various supplements. The Gerson diet is claimed to help cleanse the body, boost the immune system, and provide vital nutrient support during therapy.
