Customer ratings for Lugol's Iodine Half Strength Solution

I have an underactive thyroid, and my doctor has prescribed Thyroxine as a natural product didn't work for me. I read a lot of testimonials about Lugol's Iodine for Thyroid and so I asked my doctor how much I should take so as to enhance my thyroid - she advised me not to take any more than 2 drops per day. I have been taking this dosage for a year now, and have now increased to 3 drops per day in water. My thyroid has not worsened and I am convinced it is the Iodine that has helped...... I would like to get off the Thyroxine, but I have no-one to help me with this.

I have previously taken lugols solution and found my metabolism benefited as a result. The logical spinoff of this is of course that the body better utilizes nutrients from the foods that you eat. One of the results of a slow metabolism is you put on weight easily. I personally lost about 6 kilo while taking Lugols solution.

I use it for Fibrcycstic Breast Disease using the Iodine Protocol on Breast Cancer Choices. I have used it for a number of years now. Completely gets rid of it.

Used it topically to gauge rate of absorption re dosage needed. Will continue till levels are good.
