Chinese Wormwood Extract, Artemisia annua, in Ethanol and Purified Water

Other Names:  Qing hao, Sweet Annie, Sweet Wormwood

Main Traditional Application: Antiparasitic for Malaria and Schistosomiasis, a tropical disease caused by parasitic flatworms. Recent studies have shown that sweet wormwood may have a role fighting iron rich cancer cells.

Contraindications: Because it is such a powerful herb, it should be used sparingly, only for short periods of time, under professional supervision, and not used during pregnancy or given to children.
