Origin: Ylang ylang essential oil comes from the flowers of the Cananga tree, a large tropical tree, widely grown throughout Asia.
Features: Calming, sensual, meditative, warming essential oil.

Uses: Ylang ylang has traditionally been used for treatment of malaria, respiratory conditions, arthritis and gout.
It's calming yet uplifting scent may help in depression, relieve extreme mood swings due to PMS, calm the nerves and bring down stress and high blood pressure.
One of the most popular uses for this oil is applying it to the scalp to thicken the hair and to the skin in order to preserve a “youthful glow” and help prevent signs of aging or irritation.
Throughout history in places such as Indonesia, and still even today, Ylang ylang has been commonly used to decorate the bed of newlyweds on their wedding night due to its energizing, aphrodisiac qualities.
Blends well with Bergamot, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Frankincense, Lime, Lemongrass, Mandarin and Orange essential oils.
How to use:
1. Creater calm and uplifting space by using Ylang ylang in a vapourizer.
2. Topically, place 2-3 drops in 5 ml of Jojoba oil and
- massage it into the face once or twice daily for youthful appearance and protection against sun damage,
- apply to your wrists, neck or chest to boost your energy
- apply to your scalp and leave for an hour for stronger, healthier hair
- massage over the digestive organs to improve digestion
Warnings: Do not apply pure essential oils directly to the skin. Do not take internally. Avoid during pregnancy.
