At Newton’s Compounding Pharmacy, we follow strict Australian pharmacy regulations to protect your health and safety. This page explains our returns, refunds, and exchange policy for medicines, compounded prescriptions, and natural health products.


Medicines – Cannot Be Returned

By law, medicines and compounded prescriptions cannot be returned or refunded once they leave the pharmacy.

  • This includes prescription items, custom-made compounded medicines, and over-the-counter medicines.

  • This rule ensures the integrity, safety, and quality of all medicines supplied.


Opened or Used Products – Cannot Be Returned

For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used products cannot be returned.

  • Applies to vitamins, supplements, herbal drops, tinctures, creams, and homeopathic remedies.

  • Products must remain sealed, unused, and in original packaging to qualify for any return.


Change of Mind Policy

We do not accept returns for change of mind on:

  • Prescription medicines

  • Compounded products

  • Any opened or used items

To avoid issues, please contact our pharmacists for advice before purchasing.


Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Products

If your product is:

  • Damaged on arrival

  • Faulty

  • Incorrectly supplied

Please notify us within 7 days of purchase. We will arrange a refund or replacement in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
