This Comfrey ointment is made with 10% Comfrey root and leaf extract in a protective lanolin and beeswax ointment base.

Traditionally, Comfrey (Symphytum officinale), used topically, is known to promote tissue growth and skin cells renewal and promote healing. Comfrey roots and leaves contain allantoin, a substance with documented benefits for skin regeneration. Comfrey and Arnica are often used together to speed up the healing process for bruises, pulled muscles and ligaments, fractures, sprains, and strains.
